Meetings

Timeless elegance in the most futuristic part of Oslo forms the framework for any meeting at THE THIEF. We have five boardrooms of varying sizes and organise meetings and seminars for 2–50 people.

The largest is FJORD, our meeting room with its own roof terrace, which has a fantastic view over the city and the fjord. For larger meetings and conferences we collaborate with the Astrup Fearnley Museum, Cafe de Concert, Sjømagasinet and others.

The interior design features warm colours, and dark panels form an exciting contrast to large glass surfaces with light and views. All meeting rooms have furniture and decor by top Norwegian and international designers. The rooms have a personal and intimate atmosphere and are decorated with hand-picked art. You can safely bring fussy delegates here!

Meetings at THE THIEF can easily be combined with gastronomy, art or more adrenaline-fuelled activities. Check out our meeting packages or contact us for a customised programme.

Personal service, full discretion and all technical facilities are a matter of course.

Pipervika

Spacious meeting room with a personal and intimate atmosphere, the option of showing films and all technical facilities. In the evening the room acts as a chambre séparée, perfect for private dinners.

The meeting room is named after Pipervika, a bay in the Oslofjord which leads into Oslo City Hall, between Akershus fortress and Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen.

Personal service, full discretion and all technical facilities are a matter of course. Pipervika is our largest in-house meeting room. If your company requires more space we collaborate with the Astrup Fearnley Museum, Cafe de Concert, Sjømagasinet and others.

Dokken

The boardroom has impressive views of the canals on Tjuvholmen. With its warm colours and intimate mood the room functions as a chambre séparée in the evening, perfect for private dinners. Personal service, full discretion and all technical facilities are a matter of course.

The boardroom is named after the bay between Tjuvholmen and Aker Brygge, which is called Dokken today. This passage was originally called Rakkerbukten and later Tyveholmsbukten.

Fru Krogh

The boardroom has impressive views of the canals on Tjuvholmen. With its warm colours and intimate atmosphere the room functions as a chambre séparée in the evening, perfect for private dinners. Personal service, full discretion and all technical facilities are a matter of course.

Fru Krogh, whom the boardroom is named after, was the lanowner at Tjuvholmen in a period at the end of the 18th century.

Holmen

The boardroom has impressive views of the canals on Tjuvholmen. With its warm colours and intimate atmosphere the room functions as a chambre séparée in the evening, perfect for private dinners. Personal service, full discretion and all technical facilities are a matter of course.

The boardroom is named after Holmen, site of Akers mekaniske verksted [mechanical workshop] from 1854 and where Aker Brygge is now located. In 1876 there was a marina (Holmens båtforening) in the bay between Holmen and Tjuvholmen.

Fjord

Giving direct access onto a roof terrace with a 360-degree view of the fjord, this meeting room has been given the obvious name “Fjord”.

Large windows bring the view into the room. Delicate lighting and plants contribute to an intimate atmosphere, which makes the meeting room suitable for private dinners in the evening. Personal service, full discretion and all technical facilities are a matter of course.
