Restaurant Fru K

Fru K represents quality, contrasts, art, creativity, and the culture of cuisine. Regional ingredients play a pivotal role in the kitchen at Fru K. Our three, five and seven course menus change according to season. With one foot dipping its toes in tradition and the other solidly planted in contemporary Tjuvholmen, Head Chef Johan Laursen, previously of Maaemo (Oslo), takes the best of Norwegian and Scandinavian gastronomic traditions, and creates new food experiences with pure and natural flavours.

Sommelier Claire Mariottini, with a track record from several international Michelin-starred restaurants, composes the perfect wine to accompany the cuisine. Using her great knowledge and passion for wine, she makes recommendations suited to the occasion and the wishes and budget of the guest. Fru K has a generous selection of wines by the glass in a wide range of prices.

Restaurant Manager Haakon Sand, previously based at the Savoy River Restaurant (London), welcomes you to exclusive and understated surroundings with the option of a private dining room. In the summer months, we also put tables on the terrace.  Welcome to Fru K, at the end of Fru Krogh’s pier!
