Here at THE THIEF we firmly believe in the concept of ‘universal design’. We want everyone to feel at home, no matter his or her age, physical ability or the purpose of their visit.
We have endeavoured to equip our hotel with the necessary technology to ensure our guests with functional disabilities can comfortably and safely move around. There are a total of 12 bespoke hotel rooms that specifically cater for those with disabilities, divided amongst our standard and superior rooms.
Each of these rooms contain the following:
- Fire-alarms especially designed for hearing or sight impaired guests
- Bathrooms equipped with emergency alarms
- Toilets accessible to those with disabilities
- Showers that are sized to be wheelchair friendly
- Specially lowered sinks and towel racks for convenience
