INDIVIDUAL

 

  1. RESERVATION

Number of attendees, price, accommodation, food and beverage and other orders are shown on the reservation overview.

Age limit to check in at THE THIEF is 20 years. Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking onsite if id cannot be shown.

THE THIEF is a non-smoking hotel.

  1. VALIDITY OF PRICES

The stated prices are cogent for both parties. The hotel reserves the right to adjust the prices due to changes of costs i.e. increased taxes or fees or other conditions out of control for the hotel.

  1. STATUS | CHANGES/CANCELLATION

All changes/cancellations should be made in written notifications to the hotel to be valid.

Guaranteed Payment for the whole reservation is guaranteed by a company or a credit card, the hotel has responsibility to offer the guest accommodation for the confirmed number of nights. 100% of the reservation will be charged if the room is cancelled or in case of no-show.

  1. PAYMENT

4.1 Payment in advance according to the specification written under general information in the reservation overview.

4.2 Full payment for the arrangement will be made upon arrival to the hotel.

4.3 Bank warranty for the total anticipated cost should be sent to the hotel according to the specification written under comment in the confirmation. If payment is delayed an interest charge according to local law will be added.

  1. DEPOSIT

The hotel reserves the right to ask for deposit or bank warranty.

  1. DISPOSAL OF ACCOMMODATION

Ordered rooms for accommodation are guaranteed to be ready for check in after 15.00 arrival day and are held for your disposal until 12.00 departure day. Any changes to these times have to be agreed upon and confirmed by the hotel.

  1. VISITORS

Visitors are not allowed in the room after 11:00 pm. Visitors must notify Front Desk upon their arrival and be accompanied by the registered guest at all times.

  1. LIABILITY OF DAMAGE

The Customer is responsible for all damage on the hotel property caused by careless or intended behaviour of the participants.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

Occurrences out of control for the parties (strike, lock out, fire etc.) that makes it impossible to fulfil the obligations of this contract gives the right to cancel the whole arrangement without liability to pay compensation.

  1. COURT PROCEEDINGS

Any disputes between the parties in this contract, or between participants and the hotel, will be handled according to the local law. If a compromise solution is not found the statement from the court of law will apply.

  1. PERSONAL INFORMATION

THE THIEF may in some cases use Google to search for personal information in order to enhance the guest experience during the stay at the hotel. This information will not by any means be used for commercial purposes, only to understand the guest’s true needs in order to deliver the best service possible. You may reserve yourself from this by responding to this email.

  1. A CASH FREE HOTEL

THE THIEF is a cash free hotel. 

 

 

GROUPS

 

  1. IMPLEMENTING THE EVENT

To ensure the quality of your event we ask you to contact us for a brief of details of the arrangement before you send out any confirmations to participants of the event.

In such a way we are able to communicate the hotel’s possibilities and limitations.

2. PROGRAM AND PARTICIPANT LIST

Final program and participant/rooming list will have to be sent to the hotel at least 21 days before arrival. We ask you to give us notice if any of the participants have any special needs or requests.

3. UNSETTLED ROOM BILLS

For benefits not included in the contract, every participant must settle their own bill. The organising client is responsible for any unsettled bills, unless other is agreed upon

4. DAMAGES

In event of damages to the hotel property caused by participants of the event, the organizing client is held liable. Due to the safety of guests and staff of the hotel, no objects easily breakable are allowed in the SPA or swimming pool area. By not obeying the above terms the guest/client will be held responsible for any costs in relation to the damage. All visits to the SPA are on own responsibility.

 5. CANCELLATIONS & REDUCTIONS

REDUCTION OF OVERNIGHT ROOMS

Reduction other than stated below will be charged at full cost.

All reductions have to be sent in writing to the hotel.

 

REDUCTIONS OF MEALS

Reduction of meals later than 14 days prior to arrival, will be charged at full cost. Reductions have to be sent in writing to the hotel.

CANCELLATION POLICIES BY DAYS BEFORE EVENT START

Up to 90 days                                                             No charge.

Up to 60 days                                                             20 % charge of total quote.

Up to 30 days                                                             50 % charge of total quote.

Up to 14 days                                                               75 % charge of total quote.

Less than 14 days                                                     100 % charge of total quote.

 

6. SETTLEMENT

Charges for any services that are ordered in addition to the contract, will be added to the invoice to the organizing client.

7. CREDIT

Credit must be applied in advance from the hotel. We reserve the right to credit check all applications, and might ask for a written application on logo paper. It must contain the correct address, telephone/fax number, org. number, contact person, and if any, what the invoice shall be marked. The request must be signed by the responsible person according to the event. Applications must be sent no later than 14 days prior to arrival at the hotel.

NB: Individual invoices must be arranged in advance. We charge a billing fee of kr.65,- per invoice. The credit amount is billed upon departure and due date 10 days net. We do not send invoices under NOK. 5000,-. In case of late payment the organizing client will be charged a fee of NOK 85,– It is calculated approximately 2% interest per month.

8. VAT AND GENERAL PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

By changes in taxes and other unpredicted circumstances that affects the rate, the hotel will adjust the rates accordingly.

9. DEPOSIT AND GUARANTEE

We reserve the right to ask for deposits and other forms of guarantees for the rooms/events.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

Events outside The Thief’s control such as strikes, lockouts, fire, lack of delivery etc., give the hotel the right to cancel the event without any obligations or fees.

12. A CASH FREE HOTEL

The future is cash free! From February 2018 THE THIEF wants to become a cash free hotel. We therefore encourage our guests to use electronic payment options; together we set the agenda for the future. As a consumer this will ensure you more freedom and better security.

18. COMMERCIAL  ACTIVITIES
Commercial activities as part of a stay must be arranged directly with the hotel.

All cancellation has to be in writing to the hotel.
