Chaos and the calm

The duo—Birgitte Hellwig on vocals and Joachim Henriksen on guitar—craft songs about freedom, hope, and dreams. They first crossed paths in 2016 while studying at NISS, and soon formed Chaos and the Calm. Their debut single, “Fallow,” dropped in 2022, followed by “The Hill.”

In spring 2024, they released their debut EP, Storyline, and embarked on their first tour that summer. After a focused studio period in the fall, they’re gearing up for new releases in 2025. The first single, “Dream,” launched on March 14, setting the stage for more music to come throughout the year.
